Bespoke Programme - West Dunbartonshire Council
WDC serves a community of 93000 people and 1800 businesses. As a result of the ‘Best Value’ review, the council identified that they had to develop their workforce to ensure change and improvement. Working in collaboration with the client, Clydebank College created and delivered a programme – influencing the development of more than 400 employees in the last year. The programme has provided quality learning opportunities across the breadth and depth of the business.
As an outcome of the programme, WDC experienced improved service levels by means of a motivated and qualified workforce. The robust and consistent approach not only achieved the legislative requirements of the organisation, but surpassed the council’s expectations. The development programme impacted positively on morale, motivation and improved business performance.
