 Modern Apprenticeships for new and existing employees

Modern Apprenticeships are available across a wide variety of sectors and are developed through Sector Skills Councils in consultation with industry to ensure the training provided reflects the current needs of the industry.

Modern Apprenticeships are available to new recruits and existing employees aged 16-24 (for identified priority sectors support may be available to candidates aged 25+). The Modern Apprenticeship scheme covers the associated training costs within the apprenticeship, supporting candidates to develop their skills while achieving an industry recognised vocational qualification.

Clydebank College is an established training partner with Skills Development Scotland (SDS) delivering apprenticeships in a variety of occupational disciplines including:

• Hairdressing
• Motor Vehicle
• Business and Administration
• Hospitality
• Childcare
• Health and Social Care
