This course provides a high level of competence in financial and management accounting and business taxation. Further, the course provides students with up to date IT skills and business knowledge.

This course is designed for students who have passed the HNC Accounting with 15 credits.
All entry is subject to outcome of discussion at interview.

Options could include: law, economics, maths, income tax, marketing, behavioural skills.
Teaching and learning approaches include seminars and practical IT sessions. Achievement will be measured by continual assessment either by class tests or coursework, including 2 Graded Units.
Completion of this course could lead to employment in posts such as accounts assistant, trainee accountant, accounts technician or financial or management accountant. Success on this course could lead to progression to university.
With relevant options, the course gives exemptions from certain exams for the professional accounting bodies, for example ACCA, CIMA.
