Clydebank College is delighted to announce that we are introducing the Domestic Gas Foundation Programme with a 30% discount for the next start date in March. The course runs over 6 months with a combination of both classed based theory and practical on-site experience, with a placement. At the end of which, depending on candidates’ competency, they will be put through their Gas Safety Registration.

Those booking on the Clydebank College course will save up £1000 as the course can cost up to £5k with other providers!

The Domestic Gas Foundation course is accredited by BPEC and is part of Gas Safe training leading to Gas Safe Registration. This Gas Foundation training course is aimed at plumbers or people that are working in an associated mechanical services industry but who have little or no previous experience in the gas industry and want Gas Safe training, such as: Plumbers, bathroom and kitchen fitters, individuals with a mechanical services background.
Once this programme has been completed to the Gas Foundation Trainer/Assessor's satisfaction and the internal assessments have been successfully completed the candidate can then use the BPEC Gas Foundation Certificate as evidence that they are able to undertake ACS assessments in the work categories for which he or she has been trained.

As part of your Gas Safe training, you will be placed with a Gas Safe Registered Engineer who will help and guide you to build your on-site portfolio of evidence. You will gain valuable on-site experience that combines the skills learnt during your Gas Safe training.
